NR possibly stands for Nashville Record Productions, one of the four companies owned by Joe Talbot and Associates
in Nashville, TN. The three others being: Precision Record Pressing, United Record Pressing and MPF, Inc.
Nashville Record Productions didn't press records, they only manufactured the lacquer masters.
Thus the NR series is probably a Master numbers series of records pressed by various pressing plants.
